About Us
What We Believe
Luke’s Library was founded to tell extraordinary stories about ordinary people. Traditional large presses often seek celebrities out for tell all tales and name dropping. Or actors tell stories of triumph. What we here at Luke’s Library believe that you don’t have to be famous to be extraordinary.
Founder Amy Leigh McCorkle believes her journey with serious mental illness to groundbreaking bestselling author, filmmaker, and mental health advocate speaks to her unique point of view makes her equipped to find ordinary joes and mine their extraordinary story and give them a voice where otherwise they wouldn’t have one.
We look forward to elevating the everyday and shining the light on them for the extraordinary people they truly are.
Who We Are

The Design Behind The Logo
Luke was Amy's orange tabby who was diabetic. She only had him 8 years but he ruled her heart. He was her emotional support animal and when he passed she wanted to honor his memory. The publishing house was named after him.
